Corrections, bug reports and feedback — how to reach us and what to include so we can act fast.
The best way to reach us is email: support@historyofmovies.com. We read everything; replies can take a few days.
Reporting a data error
Corrections are the most valuable mail we get. To help us fix things quickly, please include:
- the film and the page where you saw the problem (a URL is perfect);
- what you believe is wrong — a placement, a year, a director credit, an award result;
- if possible, a link to a source we can verify against.
Because every ranking is computed from source data rather than edited by hand, most fixes happen in the data layer and flow through to every affected page at once.
Reporting a bug
If a page renders wrong or something is broken, please include the page URL, what you expected, what you saw instead, and the browser you were using. A screenshot helps.
Feedback
Suggestions for new lists to include, sources you think we weight wrongly, or pages you wish existed — all welcome. The scoring method is documented on the methodology page if you want to argue with the arithmetic; we enjoy those emails the most.
